To eliminate transmission of vibration from the dehumidifier and ERV to the wood structure, I am hanging those units from the steel structure instead.

I used Unistrut for the structure, which was readily available and extremely stable.

Both units require leveling, so I used turnbuckles on all four chains.

When I tested the result, it was amazingly effective. Within the attic you could hear the vibration sound, but outside of the attic it was dead silent.

Then the units simply hang or sit upon the rigging.
