Drywall Delivery

Today the drywall was delivered.

I ordered eighty-five 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheets of 5/8 in. drywall. They delivered eighty-four.

I also had four 16 ft. 2x10s delivered, for the overhead anchors.

Special panel-handling tools were critical to this operation. As was free labor.

I got some help from my daughter, Will, Ryan and Matt. We needed to get them inside soon, as it was going to rain later that night.

Most of them were moved as a pair, which is heavier but makes faster progress.

They take up a lot of space, but I expect the top sheets will be used as a work surface in the mean time.
