Chicken Dome

Today Adam got started on a geodesic dome kit my wife ordered.

The foundation for the dome is simply a ring of ground-contact 4x4s. It’s a very lightweight structure, but due to its design it’s supposed to be able to handle snow and wind very well.

We are also started clearing some of the smaller trees in the forest to open it up a bit, using our wood chipper to create bedding for the floor of the dome.
