Rafter Sheathing Continued

October 13, 2020

Over the last few weeks I’ve been chipping away at the rafter sheathing.

The gap under the steel rafter had to be done with thinner material to provide sufficient clearance under the steel.

I was able to get a few panels up myself, but the cross-support cables in the middle bay of the building leave far less room to maneuver.

Because the sheathing panels are cupped, we found only four screws down the raised center is sufficient to hold the panel very firmly in place.

Thankfully Ryan came by today and helped get the next three panels up. The rafter sheathing is now more than half done.
