Over the last few days, while my thumb has been recovering, I’ve been taking measures to silence rattling at cross bracing and tension cable intersections.

Where the cross bracing intersects, I wrapped each strap with a fabric duct tape and then wrapped the two together.

I then used foam pipe insulation with fabric duct tape on the ends to keep the tension cables from rattling or resonating.

After I’ve gotten the other side finished, I’m going to bring a bass guitar amp in and then locate anything that rattles.
