Mechanical Room Floor Complete

Today I built and put into place the floor for the mechanical room, which is also the ceiling for the entry and coat closet.

The large hole is for pull-down attic stairs, providing easy access to the ducted mini-split and ERV in the mechanical room.

I built it on the ground and then had my daughters help me lift it into place, level it and secure it to the walls.

I used shims in some places to make final adjustments to the 1×6, ensuring it was plumb and the curve was smooth.

The edge of the assembly is curved and protrudes over the wall below, creating a transition between the lower wall and the upper wall.
