Work Lighting Electrical Rebuilt

August 7, 2020

Over the last two days I removed all the wiring for the temporary work lighting and rebuilt it underneath the rafters.

All 8 work lights will be permanently installed the workshop before the drywall goes on, giving the workshop four times more light than it has now.

I hung the lights tight to the rafters to give more space for the scaffolding to pass by them.

The lights are controlled by a receiver and two wireless switches at each entry door. They are powered by a pigtail fed by an extension cord.

The switch and pigtail junction box got reused. I attached it to a temporary block on a stud.
