Scissor Lifts

The weather is finally getting dry enough that I decided it was time to rent some equipment to finish the studio structure. Adam’s willingness to risk his life, and stand atop of a pallet carried by a reach forklift was impressive. But I learned that what we really needed to complete the project is two scissor lifts.

They arrived today, and I tested one out. My first impression was fear. Being that high in the air, and experiencing how wobbly the lift feels was not pleasant. However, I read up about them and apparently that’s just how they are, and people say you will get used to it after a while.

I have the lifts for a month, so I’m now ready to get going again and have somewhat of a deadline. I just hope the weekends are dry.
