First Snow

This week the slab was backfilled, completing the first stage of the project. The building lot won’t arrive until spring.

After backfilling, the slab sits only a few inches above grade.

This morning we got our first dusting of snow.

Now that the trees have lost their leaves, it’s easy to see the slab from the house.

Now I have all of winter to plan next steps.
